Antelope Valley – East Kern Water Agency Operations Center Expansion
This project consisted of the commissioning of a 13,270 square feet two-story office building that included a lobby, board and conference rooms, private offices, break room, laboratory and restrooms.
The commissioned systems included:
- Air handling unit
- Air cooled chiller
- Chilled water pumps
- Hot water boiler and pumps
- Fan coil units
- Variable air volume terminal units
- Exhaust fans
- Building automation system
- Gas water heaters and pumps
- Lighting controls.
The scope of the commissioning was to meet or exceed LEED® prerequisite fundamental and enhanced commissioning and the commissioning requirements listed in the 2013 California Energy Efficiency Standards (Title 24, Part 6) and the 2013 California Green Building Standards. The project is seeking LEED® Version 3, New Construction, BD+C Silver/Gold Certification.
